Understanding the Changes to ISO 9001:2026
The world’s most widely used management system standard, ISO 9001 — Quality Management Systems: Requirements, is approaching the completion of its revision. ISO 9001:2026, along with its companion standard, ISO 9000:2026 — Quality Management: Fundamentals and Vocabulary, is being updated to address the evolving needs of organizations in an increasingly complex, post-pandemic world. With more than 1.3 million certificates issued globally, the forthcoming changes to ISO 9001:2026 will have a significant impact across industries and international markets.
This webinar recording will provide a practical overview of the anticipated changes in ISO 9001:2026, including updates to existing requirements and the introduction of new concepts and expectations. Participants will also learn about the projected publication timeline and transition period organizations can expect in order to maintain certification continuity.
By understanding both the changes themselves and the intent behind them, organizations will be better prepared to strengthen and continually improve their quality management systems while planning an effective transition to the revised standard. Because successful quality management systems depend on active leadership engagement, this webinar recording is intended for organizational leaders, quality management professionals, auditors, and practitioners responsible for implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 systems.
