by Chad Kymal,Dan Reid published on May 14, 2020

Remote auditing is here! A remote audit is a systematic, independent, and documented process for obtaining objective audit evidence to compare to audit criteria, exclusively using Information and Communication Technology (ICT). This can include software and hardware such as smartphones, handheld devices, laptop computers, desktop computers, drones, video cameras, wearable technology, artificial intelligence, and others.

In this webinar, the IAF document above will be discussed and the Omnex approach for conducting remote audits, and technology approaches using documented information software and electronic workflows will be systematically explained, incorporating examples. The organization of documented information, types of functionalities, and how they can be used will also be presented.
