Integrating APQP / PPAP (AS9145) within AS9100
The aerospace Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) standard, AS9145, was developed to leverage the successes found in the automotive sector. The more disciplined approach has been shown superior to that of the ISO 9000 or the AS9100 QMS adherence. The Advanced Quality Planning Process derives its success using essential prescriptive tools addressing risks, opportunities, and resource planning within the Quality Management System.
In addition, the Webinar will explain how following the AS9145 requirements and guidance will result in demonstrating manufacturing readiness with objective evidence aligned to the fundamental requirements of the AS9100. The importance of APQP is more critical than ever in the industry today.
