Safe and Secure Development Webinar Series Part 1 - Functional Safety Compliance supported by Automotive SPICE

by Nikhil Unnikrishnan,Emil Pop published on February 13, 2026

Functional Safety (ISO 26262) is a critical requirement for modern automotive systems, ensuring that safety goals are met throughout the development lifecycle. But how do frameworks like Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) and Quality Management Systems (QMS) support these objectives? Can they provide tangible benefits beyond compliance?

In this webinar, we will explore the synergy between ASPICE, QMS, and Functional Safety. Our experts will demonstrate how ASPICE process areas - such as requirements management, system design, and verification - align with ISO 26262 activities, creating a structured foundation for safety compliance. We’ll also discuss practical strategies for leveraging ASPICE maturity to reduce risk, improve traceability, and streamline audits.

Whether you are an OEM or a supplier, this session will help you understand how integrating ASPICE and Functional Safety frameworks can enhance product reliability while helping achieve greater compliance.
