We are in a time where cybersecurity incidences are at an all-time high and increasing exponentially on a daily basis. Those affected include both Private, as well as Governmental Agencies, large and small organizations alike. The Department of Defense (DoD) recognized this ever-increasing threat in the environment and increased their compliance for information security into a certification requirement – the CMMC. CMMC is required to cascade to all depths of the full supply chain and intended to protect the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and the Federal Contract Information (FCI) within the unclassified networks of the Defense Industrial Base. In the past, organizations had the option for self-certification for compliance, now with CMMC an independent third party evaluation of the system is required. As this is a new program and a new certification process – many companies have questions on applicability, process overview and where is the DoD at in the current implementation.

In this webinar you will: Understand the background of CMMC requirement Understand CMMC relationship to NIST 800-171 and ISO 27001 Understand the current status of the CMMC process
